Teams train for one hour per week. All players are expected to attend.
While the Kensington Community Aquatic Recreation Centre is being rebuilt into a state-of-the-art facility, teams mostly train at North Melbourne Recreation Centre, with some at Melbourne Sports Centres Parkville and Holy Rosary Primary School (Kensington).

Note that age brackets consider the player’s age at 31 December of the current year, which means teams tend to be younger than the bracket may suggest. For example, a 13 & Under team will often include 12 and 11 year olds.
Most teams play matches indoors at Melbourne Sports Centres Parkville (previously known as the State Netball Hockey Centre). The 17 & Under competition plays at Riverside Courts (Ascot Vale).
