Season Information
The Colts compete in both the Westgate Basketball Association and Altona Basketball Association across Summer and Winter domestic competitions.
Players typically:
- Train once a week.
- Play one game each Saturday.
- Are coached by our fantastic team of volunteer coaches.
Fixtures & Results
Game fixtures, results and ladders are managed through PlayHQ.
Training Venues
Our teams train at a number of local venues across Melbourne’s inner west, including:
- Kensington Recreation Centre
- North Melbourne Recreation Centre
- Flemington Primary School
- St Brendan’s Primary School
- Victoria University Footscray Park, Whitten Oval and Nicholson St
Your coach or team manager will advise your team’s training venue and time before each season.
Player Development
Looking to take your game to the next level?
The Colts offer a range of player development opportunities throughout the year, including:
- Colts Player Development Program (PDP)
- School holiday programs & Skills clinics through Westgate Basketball
These programs are suitable for players wanting to improve their skills, confidence and basketball IQ outside regular team training.
Uniforms & Off Court Apparel
Players at the Kensington Colts are provided uniforms (including playing singlet & shorts). Off court apparel is available for purchase on our online store.
