Registration and fee payment

Registration Fees are required for each season and are paid during the registration process in PlayHQ. Please wait until a team has been allocated before registering.

Unlike other sports, basketball has two seasons per year – a summer and winter season. Both require registration payment for a full season. Our seasonal fees are as follows:

• Fees per Player $310
• Concession card holder (photocopy to be supplied) $220
• Family Rate (2 or more players in the same sport) $575
• Concession $410

These registration fees are payable to the club at the commencement of the season however only when the player is confirmed in a team. Registration fees cover the team entry fee into the Association competition, training venue hire and player insurance. Coaches and club administration personnel are all volunteers and are not paid.

There is an entry charge of around $2-$3 to the basketball stadium for all entrants, including players. This money does not go to either the club or the association but to stadium management.

This charge is common to a lot of sports including netball and hockey.
